Reading Camp

To inculcate reading habit among the school children and to teach information literacy skills, Library launched a “Reading Camp” at WP/PIL/Bodhiraja Vidyalaya – a primary school located near University of Moratuwa. There are about 70 children studying in this primary school.

“Reading Camp” is conducted every Wednesdays at Bodhiraja Vidyalaya by members of the Library staff.

proud to be Sri lankansMrs. Devika Thalawatte and Mrs Indrani Jayalath were got together to present interesting facts about the proud history of our motherland to the students of Grade 4 and 5 on Tuesday, 4th November, 2014. Not only their presentation, video-clips on ancient Sri Lanka and patriotic songs added a great value to the event. Mr. Roshan Fernando and Mr. Sameera Perera provided the technical assistance.
